  1. I had choice of feed's on my iptv and chose the gash one for a laugh, the comms are by guys who are something to do with a podcast? The doom in their voices in the dying seconds after what looked like a pen to them BUT ref gave Sland a free kick t'other way was brilliant, just wish I could have recorded it. Priceless, going about bad luck, poor ref's etc etc etc, could almost hear them cry. They were so lacking in quality , the big guy up front did one good turn and that is the only bit of quality I saw, and even that wasn't great.

Go back a while when they were genuine rivals and most fans knew both starting 11's of the Bristol clubs, I genuinely had no idea about most of their team.

They really do believe they are going down, the n'hampton game is massive for them if they are to have any chance. fingers crossed they **** it right up.

  2. Never been a swindle fan before BUT can you imagine a55chat when they've lost to the other robins tonight???? Please, Please, Pretty please. Agent Pitman has a mission.

Only went on their "forum" once and I laughed too much to go on again BUT hopefully around 9pm tonight we'll see some belters.

naff all to do with the thread but the Kentucky church scene great music gives you the feeling like city winning with the last kick of the match.

The three guitars going for it, freebird, by Lynyrd skynyrd. Bear outro ever. Class scene and I know what you mean about great feeling after winning.

Actually have a video of him ?

Danny starks from tarnock I think. One of the locals in my pub in rooksbridge, next village. He was bolloxed on the Fri night, leaving us well after 2am,and on the cider train from Highbridge at 8.30. Still gets as pissed now.

not that simple is it. drainage would have to be sorted first. it hasn't been cold enough to kill grass off like that without being waterlogged underneath. having said that, they have had it a ton worse than us  up north rainwise.  look at the pounding Sheffield took in November.both weds and united must have some serious investment in their pitches to cope with that lot

Most top stadia, like ours ?, use the deso system, now called grass master, where grass is grown around plastic. It cost AG something like £250k to do but worth every penny, if you got the £££ of course.

  6. Any city fan who's not looked into the various articles about 82 and our "almost" demise really should be searching for info. The horrible stadium robbers first tried to get the gate on the cheap, years before they stole the rugby ground by setting up some horrific contracts with the then chairman/owner of the rugby club , who became honourary sag head. I would not shed a tear if they went into admin/receivership/folded. Even when they were ahead of us in the league they still had what I call "little man syndrome", the underdog etc etc.

I enjoy reading about them from the couple of sensible/realistic posters on here BUT hoping that SL would help in any way???? NO NO NO unless it was to liquidate them like they tried to destroy the rugby club.

A friend is connected to Rovers, he put it on twitter , I asked him privately if it was true and he confirmed it, said that even those on the inner circle are starting to have SERIOUS doubts about Wally.

Turns out the sag was taking the pi55 a bit BUT he did just stress how skint they really are and not that far going into administration when their credit line has topped out.

I'd wager that is absolute nonsense.

    Where did you hear it?

On the other hand a uwe athletics stadium with a football pitch could be used by our academy and ladies teams. Imagine the sags reaction to that!

Genius, that would be the sweetest of the sweet, the ultimate up yours, even better than a £10m striker for £300k.....

  10. The blue few should be very worried, they are in real trouble. To have a family holding a charge over the freehold property who have ZERO interest in the club and just in it for the business, at some point they will want to call in their "loan"? Who is going to subsidise the £1.5m a year loss? How long before its in negative equity?Does anyone else see Dwayne sports just calling in their debt. selling the rugby ground, and running away? IF I was a blue I'd be very worried about the lack of conviction the Wally had in this interview, very worried. Can see it ending in tears for them and laughter and mocking from us.

As an afterthought maybe SL could buy the charge from Dwayne sports, sell the mem, make them homeless (again)..............

Of course, no drinking establishments in the Ashton Gate area have ever been advised by the Police to close when Millwall have been coming to town with a promotion place at stake?

I ran the Golden Guinea in Redcliffe from early 1997 to end of 2000, one Saturday millwall,3pm ko, were in town and we were asked by plod to close, I refused and was told to be careful, was I sure?, do I know what Millwall fans are like? think it was manure vs arse in the lunchtime game on tv, we were very very busy as most other pubs were shut, had a great atmosphere and treated the millwall fans, 20 or 25 of em with respect and got it back. The police van kept driving past the pub REALLY slow every few mins and after its 4th or 5th passby I told them to Foxtrot Oscar as they were only likely to cause grief!!!!!!! One moment summed up the afternoon, 3 millwall fans were asking about how long the walk was to AG and I said a good 35/40 mins, as it was 2pm they said they'd better get going, a father and son who always called into us for a pre game 'thorn or 4 overheard and told them to get another beer as they'd give the 3 of them a lift in 20 mins or so. We took Saturday's money by 2.30pm in the afternoon!!!!

Unfortunately in the modern era of social media the "idiot" fans would have swamped us and there's have been loads of grief which is really quite sad.

  12. As I'm a bit bored and just looked at the blue few's remaining fixtures on bbc sport website, they have 4 of the bottom 5 teams left to play out of their 5 games and the other game is Exeter. They must have a great chance of automatic unless they can **** it up. pppppllllleeeeaaaasssseeee............
