But she has already got extensive experience in football, in terms of communications, commentary, reporting/journalism etc.
She would be a competent appointment, regardless of whether she has a voice people don’t like.
I don't disagree that she may be competent appointment.
I'm just saying the experience of being in sports communications differs to commentary and reporting/journalism.
For the record, I believe she's a good commentator.

It will be interesting how she adapts to communications in sport as opposed to politics.
Being a Head of Comms is very different to being a sports commentator. Good luck to her!

Where has this Bellingham hatred has come from all of a sudden? On here and on social media...
He's 20 years old, achieving things that are astronomical! The kid is a massive talent and will only get better. One game where he wasn't his best shouldn't, and won't, undermine what an incredible season he has had at the best club in the world.
-
You'd think the club would want to celebrate McCrorie's inclusion with an article on the website, at least...

And through the club's official channels. Wtf is the Head of Comms doing to ensure professionalism?
We haven't got one at the moment!

Don’t see anything wrong with this… lighthearted teaser.

He was very grateful to Bristol Sport in his early career which helped him on his way to F1.
And dropped them at the first opportunity of major sponsorship

It would be quite funny if the crowd started singing various songs about previous managers - I wonder how obscure we could get?
Would be a real achievement if the crowd starting singing in appreciation of erstwhile caretaker manager Steve Wigley.
You are my Wigley, my Stevie Wigley…

He’s the face of our season ticket campaign. Manning is our king; we always believe!

Could you please elaborate what Manning said? Especially having a pop at fanbase. Thats very daring of him if so.
Referenced the negativity as if he couldn’t understand it and “despite all the… all the… all people’s energy” they didn’t have a shot in the first half… stopped himself being direct.

Had two indirect pops at fans on Radio Bristol and the City interview… definitely losing a lot of the fan base.
Attendance (albeit Mother’s Day) speaks for itself.
Win has well and truly papered over the cracks. Adamant Lansdown was at the game because he would have sent Manning packing if we’d lost.

I’d love to say yes but the Great British public are still taking some convincing to a weekly City profile.
This was the contracted interview for the Southampton game, which the club kindly also put Andrew up for.
There’s no guarantee these stories will even get airtime if something big comes along, but fortunately the producer working last night loved Ross’ story and put it in the running order.
It’s never a perfect gauge but meeting Ross on Tuesday he seems like one of football’s genuinely good guys and everyone I spoke to at City about him couldn’t speak highly enough of him. So at the very least, we’ve got a good egg in the dressing room.
Bet you were in dreamland at HPC. Great work mate.

I thought bringing Cornick on was a terrible decision. What a sign of intent by Manning!
Needless to say he went on to have an absolute shocker. We need to get rid of him asap.
Only thing I could think of was Sykes wasn’t fit enough for more than 20 minutes on his return. Same with Twine. Mebude clearly not ready for lengthy minutes. Only option was Cornick, unless he played Conway wide.

I really disliked that he pushed Hogg towards Section 82, stayed in the centre circle, clapped a couple of times and scuttled down the tunnel quick as a flash. All for giving the big one with the fist pumps after a win mind…
Media team (yes, they’re looking for a new Head of Comms) need to help him in these post-match interviews. Prepare and advise. That’s the job.

Load of idiots shouting 'Where's your famous ICF?' like they were in Green Street 3: The tales of Ashton Road before jumping up and down behind horses (both sides on this front). Few punches seen but all relatively shouty and trying to make it look like they were interested in something happening.
Amusing nonetheless!

Usually when out of work managers appear in a TV studio it's a signal to say that they are after a job.
Cotts did loads after he left City. The fee was £500 a pop at the time so no wonder

Sven, Sven, Sven Goran Eriksson. He's a lovely geezer but don't forget that he's from Sweden

Had the pleasure of working with him. Direct, said it how it was but loved his players (and the club) no end.
Big shame and mistake in how it ended.

If anyone has a spare ticket for sale, please contact me.
Unfortunately had a meeting when the membership window opened and it was sold out by the time I’d finished!

Found him frustrating. One moment in particular Williams played a great ball in between the left back and centre back but Wells came short rather than running a similar line to what Conway had been doing.
Still a useful player but taking time to get back to it after injury.

Thought he was outstanding. Not just his shot stopping but quick off his line for balls over the top and distribution is improving every game.
Being ultra critical you’d say he may have done better with the goal but a quality display.

He’s so heavily involved it’s not a major surprise to see James rested.
Williams was good v Hull.

Genuinely shocked by the outcome.
Thought the majority would be for VAR but 19-1 is mind-blowing.
