-Manning's first game.
-A chance for first back to back wins in God knows how long.
-Last game before an international break, which we can take good form in to.
-QPR are in horrid form, especially at home.
-QPR are missing Ilias Chair.
So naturally I'm terrified. COYR!
I'm not sure they're quite as bad as people are saying, a draw last match and a narrow late defeat to Leicester after being reduced to 10 men. It's a tougher match than some people think.

If you want to make it even worse they are on a run of 14 games without a win, and who loves breaking those sorts of streaks
Is it actually fact we often break these streaks? I've seen it written a lot.

That first meeting in person they all looked so disengaged and demotivated. Experienced pro’s likely thinking….who is this guy?
You're right, he's lost the dressing room already. Manning out.

Is it just me? This footage smacks of everyone appearing to be very happy and smiling/joking, https://www.bcfc.co.uk/video/features/robins-uncut-liam-mannings-first-training-session/
With the obvious exception of Tommy.
All seem very jolly at the start but that's probably pretty normal isn't it?

@Davefevs is actually a lesser known Marvel superhero called 'Spreadsheet Boy', hasn't made it into the films yet...

Pearson pulled your pants down, it’s not 2010 anymore, Manning will be an excellent appointment.
Pulled who's pants down? Pearson did a great job.

Are you reintroducing bar maids in basques on a Friday lunchtime?
I'm certainly pushing for that, you're about the 5th person that's requested it

I do remember Percy reporting on it before it was announced. It is weird we have heard virtually nothing on it the past week.
Just don’t get the feeling something is imminent.
The club seem to be reasonably good at keeping transfers secret.

Not even a joke or trying to poke the bear, but just drove past about 4 filming vans/buses on new Charlotte st with people loading out cameras and mics etc, and a lot of people stood around being pointed into position.
Not out the question that the lounge is being used for some scene / filming in an itv/bbc/Netflix series thingy.
They're filming around Bristol for a programme called 'Surviving Earth', they were filming at Barista Coffee shop today and a supermarket tomorrow.
I know this as my wife has recently taken over the Seven Stars pub and they were using it as a green room this morning.

Lampard would be a ******* disaster. Imagine sacking Pearson and hiring Lampard, likely on more money... Absolutely mental.

If its Lampard I'll pop a tenner on us being relegated...

Apologies, bet Victor is 6/4, 1/4 with Skybet
SkyBet odds haven't moved since yesterday, maybe they can't be arsed.

Skip the first 12 minutes, all they talk about is how nice the training ground is and that social media can be bad.

Presumably we've already had feedback from Jason Knight, Mark Sykes and Rob Dickie, all of whom have worked with him in the past couple of years.
I doubt the board have done that much research...

I think from those 2 videos we can rule out Gary Rowett
Would you be surprised if after all this talk of high press front foot football we do end up with him?
Dean Smith has just entered the betting as a favourite, probably one of the more palatable names on the list?
