Logistically, as we don’t ask when selling tickets if someone is in the armed forces (and I can’t see us amending our websites to do so), then I’m guessing that anyone buying an AF ticket has to self declare on purchase and turn up at the den with forces ID?

(Not forces myself but just interested in logistics here - guessing there is a set criteria/acceptable ID underpinning?)

As a Club Bristol City don’t do an armed forces discount.

I have only benefited at away matches. Yes I need to take my ID but rarely get challenged for it.

Bristol City could set this up. Lots of armed forces struggle to attend every match due to the nature of the work.

It’s that kind of statement that shows ignorance of both 1) the current financial accounts - the accounts are far from ok really - £200m of debt, 2) the current financial rules that govern the EFL (FFP P&S)…unless of course you have just decided to ignore them and 3) modern football in terms of player movement.

    Do I like the rules?

    Nope.

Would I like players to stay a bit longer?

Yes, but if someone waves 4-5x your wage at you, you move.

On a 5 Live pod cast this week. It states the average Prem wage is now £65,000

A bloke used to sit a but across from me in the Atyeo and no matter what was happening in the game he would yell GET IT FORWARD in the broadest cockney accent you will ever hear. I looked over once to see who he was to see him proudly sat there in an Arsenal shirt!

For the life of me I can remember his name but followed city home and away after we beat Arsenal in 1976.

I remember him well from when the Grand stand terraces!

We obviously have some fans who think we can make the playoffs this season, as well as some who think it is a step too far.

What took me a little by surprise last night was Nigel saying on the radio that tomorrow (today) we have to get back to the

task of trying to get in to the playoffs, which is reassuring that his frame of mind is that it is a possibility.

I think we can all look forward to a tremendous last 13 games and we are obviously going to give it all we have got.

    Strap yourselves in.

The Ave to make play-off is 76 points so that is 2.5 points a game.

We can only drop 7 out of a max of 39 available to get to 76. My view is that it’s too far away but would love to be proved wrong!

Nearly 9k apparently. Impressive. I'd imagine we'd do 5-6k for a similar London game at a big place like that. Pompey have been solid but with only a little threat. Spurs sending everything through Son on the left and he's not quite got the deliver correct yet.

    Morrell's been solid if unspectacular.

Due to it being a new ground that none of us City fans have watched our club at I would hope for a lot more than that.

Football itself needs to sort itself out. Even if we charged £40 a ticket it wouldn’t even cover our wages.

Why are fans the ones penalised? Why do I need to stump up more to cover wages? Why can’t players take pay cuts so business can become sustainable?

We’ve let Palmer go, on roughly £20k a week. If we charged Reading fans £20 instead of £28 I think I read it’ll cost us £9k. That’s less than half of Palmers salary. And then in return we can get cheaper tickets to the away game.

Why do we have to pay for Lansdown mistakes? We don’t even sell out so it’s not a supply and demand issue.

If the priced dropped £9,000 would be covered by an extra 450 away fans.
