Shockwave
Is Gary Johnson the best manager we have ever had? He got us promoted in his first FULL season and now we are in the play-off final straight away. He was also class at Yeovil by getting them promoted to the leagues. What do you think? grifty
Yeah I see what you mean with the whispering of who I support. It used to be: "Bristol City, i know i know. What? no league 1. Yes we did get relegated when Watford went into the Prem." Now it's: "Bristol City" "Oh. Fair play to ya."
bh_red
He's well on course to become City's best ever manager, if he gets us to the prem and maybe even keeps us there, he'll likely overtake Dicks, whose rein has unfortunate blemish of the following relegations. Tinmansleftboot
it's a good question. It's already been said but it's crazy to even try and compare eras. Harry Thickett managed to get us a runners up place in the ' Premier League ' of the time and then duly went on to claim the same honor in the FA Cup. Does that make him the best? Then we have Alan Dicks. Well, I don't think we have to go into too much detail about him. Do we? Legend!!

Red Cloud
the downside of all this success of course is he's proving himself to be one of the best English managers in the country - thats worrying!
