Gaffer
Ladies and Gents, I have organised a coach to wembley and we're leaving glorious ashton to get to hillington around 10.30ish. (still a couple of places left. PM me if anyone hasn't arranged travel yet). I'm sure there will be plenty of sneaky blackthorns at the back of the coach, but when we get off and on route, where is the best place to go for a drink near, or a stop or two, away from wembley?! Looking ideally for some pub or hotel garden action as 36 of us decending at once! I am aware of Gate 5, but what are other forumites going to calm their nerves with apple based alcoholic beverages (not containing ice)??? Suggestions greatfully received! dezgimed
The Green Man pub near Wembley is City only, and apparently has an acre beer garden..

PhatWill
The Greyhound on Harrow Road is at the west end of the stadium and will be full of City guaranteed. It's always heaving for England games and you can get the tinnies in and stand outside.
