The traditional 3pm Saturday kick off would be lost most weeks We would probably be humiliated nationally week in week out Everything would increase in price, tickets, parking, refreshments, souveniers etc... We are in the Championship next season, 12 months ago to the day most were not expecting to be where we are now going into the 2008/09 season We have had the best season that many many supporters of this club have, and will ever see (bear in mind next year could have been our worst) Go to the gate next year to watch *possibly* Doncaster away and know that every single person around you is City through and through, consider we could be going to Old Trafford.... but we could have taken 4000 glory hunting day trippers with us.... Know that we are still in the league where the REAL fans are, we may hate teams like Cardiff, Swansea, Leeds, Forest, Watford etc, but know that when we visit, or when they visit us, they are genuine fans who love their club, and that is something we can share (as opposed to visiting old trafford and seeing possibly at least 20000 fans who are watching Man U for the first time) Be safe in the knowledge that whatever happens next year we will be the ONLY professional team playing in Bristol, the second best city in the country.... Also be safe in the knowledge that each week you'll be surrounded by fans who on 24/5/08 felt the biggest pain for 20 years, they were nearly all here today, and theyll be there for years to come, and they'll want it more than ever now! And if none of that inspires you.... We're BRISTOL CITY, We'll ALWAYS BELIEVE!!! C'mon people lets look forward to next season, in a real league, with real fans, playing real football!
