forbespm Posted June 5, 2008 Report Share Posted June 5, 2008 my dad always goes on about this 12345 6789 TOTTENHAM was apparently a popular chant at the time quote motson "bristol rovers look a very poor side" i still sing that to this day!i remember coming out of ashton gate after we,d just lost 2-0 against arsenal only to hear the tannoy announce the score from white hart lane 9-0!!i can still picture the scene now,the laughter was infectious!! made my day did that!!
