I watched a programe the other day, saying that there is far to much flats accomodation available. And landlords are having to sell their properties for a lot less than they bought them for. The company that pulled out can see the demand for accomodation is slim! Therefore they are not going to put money into something they cannot get a return on! If the sceme can make money for buisnesses then why don't the directors of the SAGS pay for it, or even run it as a SAGS side line to make money! They obviously don't think it is that good a sceme themselves! With the state of the market as it is, and it will now be like it for a long time! (Far more than a year) I cannot see any company outlaying that kind of money for a long time. The strange thing is also there is plenty of student accomodation in houses there at present! And students and other tenants want parking! there is hardly any parking around there atall!!!!! once again I cannot see any company outlaying that kind of money for a very long time!
