bristolcitysweden
Swedes 1 200 man. Russians 6 000 men and 180 ships. Losses: Sweden: 30 men dead, 71 men injured. Russia. 500 men dead. Slaget vid Stäket 13th of August 1719, knappens hål (Battle of Stäket 1719, needles eye). 5 km. from Stockholm. Glad I don't speak Russian. NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN 9 000 000 Swedes can beat 150 000 000 Russians on the picth. No doubts on Wednesday.

I still reckon the 16,000,000 Dutch will win the tournament. As an historical footnote of Swedish relevance: "Once he was Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell made an offensive alliance with France against Spain. He failed in an attempt to wrest Hispaniola (Cuba) from Spain, but he did capture Jamaica; and an English expeditionary army on the European continent won a great victory over the Spanish in the Battle of the Dunes (February 1658) and occupied Dunkirk. He acted to broker a peace between the Protestant Kings of Sweden and Denmark and raised British prestige across Europe to the highest point it was to reach between Agincourt (1415) and Waterloo (1815)."
