Like us away at Ipswich on a Tue night, or Sheff Utd coming to us on a Tue night. At least then fans who can't travel mid week can still see there team play. Yeah if i have a choice between some muisc festival or city i know which i would choose and i cant really see this game being on sly for the reason you said first home game. Mind if the wuzel's are playing at the gate first home game why would wanna go to the bloody festival cos the best bloody foookin band will be on the gate!!!! Midweek games live on TV are typically going to be cup games - I'm sure first couple weeks of December are Champions League. If Setanta had the FL instead of Sky they might run FL games against the CL but Sky (even if they had free channels, which they don't) aren't going to run two different football formats against each other.
