Bristol Rovers have a couple of records they would probably like to forget in there too.

Like this one.

Highest ever league placing

6th Old divison 2 in the 1950's

which I believe is 2 places below where we finished last season.

Thats the pinnacle of their illustrious 125 year history.

Good old Joe Payne of Luton Town.

How I used to love throwing that in the faces of Rovers Fans(but wasn't it 9 goals?)

Nope, 10 goals.

"On Easter Monday 1936, Payne was drafted into the first team due to injuries and scored an incredible ten goals during a 12-0 defeat of Bristol Rovers."

The successive wins record is a good one:

14 - Bristol City - 1905/06

14 - Manchester United 1904/05

14 - Preston North End 1950/51
