Guest Eamer
Bristol Rovers have a couple of records they would probably like to forget in there too.
bs16bcfc
Bristol Rovers have a couple of records they would probably like to forget in there too. Like this one. Highest ever league placing 6th Old divison 2 in the 1950's which I believe is 2 places below where we finished last season. Thats the pinnacle of their illustrious 125 year history. easton boy
Was looking at the one saying most goals scored by one player in one game. 10 against Bristol Rovers. Good old Joe Payne of Luton Town. How I used to love throwing that in the faces of Rovers Fans(but wasn't it 9 goals?)
Claverham_Red
Good old Joe Payne of Luton Town. How I used to love throwing that in the faces of Rovers Fans(but wasn't it 9 goals?) Nope, 10 goals. "On Easter Monday 1936, Payne was drafted into the first team due to injuries and scored an incredible ten goals during a 12-0 defeat of Bristol Rovers." The successive wins record is a good one: 14 - Bristol City - 1905/06 14 - Manchester United 1904/05 14 - Preston North End 1950/
