Jimmy Posted June 20, 2008 Report Share Posted June 20, 2008 This happened a while ago i think as i remember it catching my eye. 2 things spring to mind, 1) Johnson is a fan of players with a point to prove, a hunger for the game only found through rejection by other, often more established clubs or players who have never truly delivered on their touted potential - certainly not applicable here and 2) Wages would surely be a stumbling block.
