tin
Si Aston's 'Poetry in Motion' held off a late surge from 'McLaren's No Hopers' and 'Evans FC' to claim the 2008 OTIB European Cup by 7 points. Having been top since the quarter final stages, the Poets proved unstoppable on their surge to the title backing up there pre-tournament billing at 5/1 fifth favourites. Well done to everyone who participated. We had the 139th best league out of over 21,000 which is something to be proud of. BCFC Grim
Cograts to PIN. I would have finished Fourth but didn't get back from cricket in time to change my captain to Torres. Ahwell. Thanks to Tin for organising this. Just got back from celebrating Spains win. (Born in Spain, and my Dad being spanish). Well done to all that took part. And to Tin, Tyson will be a decent signing. si_aston
Top stuff on the organisation front. This little competition certainly added a bit more incentive to watching the tournament above and beyond appreciating it from a football purist's point of view. I'd also like to congratulate myself on my ultimately comprehensive victory. What a cracking tournament it was though. Only that Romania vs. France game stands out as being truly woeful; every other match provided its own 90 (and sometimes 120+) minutes of drama culminating in an engrossing but one-sided final. Roll on the friendlies!

tin
No worries guys. Just glad so many people participated and to have one of the best leagues in the whole thing is class. I'm sure we could've got more if I'd have sorted it sooner.

Congrats Si on winning, my team was around the 70 spot most of the time until a few radical changes for the semi's and final got me alot of ponts and I ended up 19th!!
