Dastardly and Muttley
Ok, before I start, I don't know whether a) this is feasible or b) it's been posted before, but anyway. It's too late for this season, but how about from next season this plan comes into operation, regarding ticket sales in East End. Tickets are only sold to members of the Supporters' Club. This could be an existing club, or a new "East End Supporters' Club" run in cooperation with the club. All members of this club would be checked against police records, and checked for known "faces", hopefully ensuring that the undesirable element would be kept away. This seems to me to be a reasonable scheme, that could work to keep the East End open to the true supporters of BCFC, and keep away the "burberry gang" off the EE. What do you think? Dastardly and Muttley
No replies? I thought this was a good idea, obviously not! Just thought I'd move this BTTT in case some people missed it last night. Please do post your views on this, as I would be interested to hear people's ideas and suggestions, although I admit this topic is getting a bit boring now. Guest WillsbridgeRed
I'vealways liked the idea for a membership scheme for the EE but wouldn't want police records checked

g_funk
but wouldn't we have to fork out more money to join the supporters club?
Dastardly and Muttley
Not sure about membership to the current supporters' club, but a new East End Supporters' Club could be free membership, a similar scheme to the England Supporters' Club I believe. Guest WillsbridgeRed
With England you have to pay 35 a year and have all your records checked through. An EE membership could have a picture ID incorporated into the scheme which could be checked at the gate. As for the cost? nominal, enpugh to cover costs
