jambodinho
Steve Bruce claims that Amr Zaki is the best striker in the world. He, like Emad is Egyptian. After asking a number of Egyptians on facebook about Emad they all said that he is a much better player than Zaki. Then surely Emad must be the best striker in the world then!! http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_3829165,00.html Roll on August 9th.. Bristol Born and Red
Omda & Amr Zaki are very good strikers , but Emad is better and better and better........ Good enough for me, amr_ahly is the only person I know with any knowledge of Egyptian football, and he will certainly know more than Steve Bruce! PS - Can we get an Egyptian Smiley
Olé
So Zaki is rated best striker in the world by FIFA (apparently)? Zaki - 27 in 48 Egypt internationals and 2 x African Cup of Nations winnerEmad - 22 in 47 Egypt internationals and 2 x African Cup of Nations winnerOkay ... that must make Emad one of the best in the world then too. Likewise they're an identical age (25) with only 38 days between them. However, that leaves one fundamental difference (Steve Bruce take note): Zaki's club achievements: 2 Egyptian Cup wins (in 2005 with ENPPI and 2008 with Zamalek)Emad's club achievements: 4 Egyptian Championships, 2 Egyptian Cups, 3 Egyptian Super Cups, 2 Continental (African) Champions Leagues, 2 Continental (African) CupsSo Emad is a real winner and has won just about everything there is to win. Whilst Zaki already went to Lokomotiv Moscow did nothing and came home. Did I say there was one fundamental difference? There's one other - we'll actually own Emad and he'll cost over 3 million less. InCider
Omda & Amr Zaki are very good strikers , but Emad is better and better and better........ I really hope so and can quite believe it. The fact that Johnson came out with the 'if he's half as good as we think he is ...' quote, does say to me that we are expecting big things from the guy (once he's settled, of course!). havanatopia
All these remarks and comparisons makes me wonder how on earth we managed to get the guy in the first place. A remarkable achievement by all the powers that be at BCFC. They deserve enormous credit. Of course, we are, perhaps, a little too modest about the attraction of our club. At least I may be.
