Philip Belgrave Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 I was completely gob-smacked when I heard over the BBC Overseas Service of the destruction of the pier in Weston-super-Mare. I have the fondest memeories of the place:- actually underneath the pier on a particularly warm summer evening where I first discovered, in a practical way , that ladies differed physically from Gentlemen.
