Here's another controversial topic for you folks..

We all know pre-season friendlies don't matter. All irrelevant when considering season doesn't start till' Aug 9th.

My question...WHY?

If players aren't fit, are half arsed, aren't playing to their potential, we can lose to teams we shouldnt...

But if we have our near first team out, why shouldn't they go out and just win matches like they should? Why can't they?

It's just our players, playing lesser players, why lose, why not....win?

Just a knee jerk reaction of course given the Cheltenham score, but losing and drawing in Portugal to dross, stuggling against Bournemouth, struggling against Cheltenham.

It doesn't mean shite, but why can't we do it with style and win?

Always wondered.
