STP Posted July 31, 2008 Report Share Posted July 31, 2008 After tues nites game at Cheltenham,it was learnt that misfit or misherd(his contact} wasnt coming as he couldnt get off his arse in Coventry.GJ lost patience and sent him off on camel no. 2 into the lost horizon.It seemed all doom and gloom.No strikers left to buy,slag of GJ +SL, and who were we left with?Suddenly today.no messin,BANG£2.25 SMACKEROOS and probably the best city prospect to ignite the season.No ambition city they say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rock on. Not surprisingly, the clouds have really lifted on this forum. This signing should really build on what we (and I mean everyone, GJ, SL, the team, the staff and not least the supporters) have achieved after years of mediocrity. Can we particularly acknowledge the guts of GJ/SL in casting aside signings that wouldn't have been right? They certainly put themselves on the line. Second season syndrome? That's for wimps.
