I do not think you can keep 5 strikers happy....Adebola, Maynard, Brooker, Trundle (JMW)....That will do me fine..... Centre midfield needs a boost; thats where the next (if any) signing should be-Personally I would have loved Carle to stay as I think the squad would have been complete with him... samo Posted August 1, 2008 Report Share Posted August 1, 2008 if we get another front man then, yes, i'd say one of the group might be a fringer player, but 5 is a reasonable number for a full campaign. add in cup matches and the season will be at least 48 games long, and i'd be shocked if three or four of our forwards were able to play all those. i agree with redhyde that our central defensive area could do with a reasonalbe addition, although it would be nice to think James Wilson can make an impression. mccombe carey fonatine (presently injured) wilson (still untried) that is not what i'd call strength in depth. i can imagine GJ, PJ and SL will be working on pulling something out of the bag here TBH. otherwise i'm pretty happy with our squad.
