If we had not signed (properly that is) Misfit or Motab would Maynard be here ? Or was Maynard always on Lansdown and Johnson's radar ? If he wasn't, then it looks like maybe the two failed signings may have worked in City's favour, we know that at the end of the season. Its going to tough league this year, I keep getting all the latest news from workmates about Reading, Wolves, QPR, Crystal Palace, Watford, Swansea they all think they are up for it this year. GJ and SL obviously sat down and discussed that they could sign a more down to earth, more promising talent than Mifsud and Meteb and so went back to the table with an improved offer, at least that's how I see it.
