Miles_in_the_Dolman
Been looking on youtube at songs that other teams sing for their players. Liverpool fans sing to this tune for Steven Gerrard so Ive changed the lyrics to fit for Louis Carey.. See what you think... (to the tune of your just to good to be true.) Your just to good to be trueee, We cant take r eyes off of youuuu, You wear the Armband with pride A Robin until you dieeee.. And when were all p****d in the bars, We thank the lord that your r's. Your just to good to be true, Cant take r eyes off of you... Ooooh.. Louis Louis Louis CAREY Ooooh.. Louis Louis Louis CAREY Ooooh.. Louis Louis Louis CAREY Ooooh Louis Louis Caaaaaarrrrrey Oh Louis Carey because he hates the Blues Oh Louis Carey he hates the Yeovil too Oh Louis Carey you're a RED through and through. Oh Louis Carey because he hates the Blues Oh Louis Carey he hates the Yeovil too Oh Louis Carey you're a RED through and through. (Back to beginning) - just to help! Ray White
Most of the songs that people suggest on this forum (such as the one above) are good but the problem seems to be that not enough people know the words so it makes them very difficult to sing on mass as they just go on too long/or are too complicated to remember. Personally I think the former chant used for Leroy Lita should now be used for Nicky Maynard when he scores against Derby. Nicky, Nicky Nicky, Nicky Nicky, Nicky, Nicky Maynard!! (repeat until tired)
InCider
Oh Louis Carey because he hates the Blues Oh Louis Carey he hates the Yeovil too Would rather any song about our rivals is centred around the especially evil 2! Oh Louis Carey, he hates the Cardiff Blues Oh Louis Carey, he hates the Rovers too.

Ryskip
On the topic of songs I think it's about time (if it hasn't already) that the old 'Tinnion is a' song was re-used. Plenty of players without a decent song. Also (please be kind) I've been thinking about Maynard Yellow Submarine There is a lad We signed from Crewe and he knows just what to do He'll score a goal from 20 yards and his name is Nicky Maynard JOHNSON SAY Maynard is the one... Torres, Torres There is a lad We signed from Crewe, Maynard, Maynard He knows exactly what to do, Maynard, Maynard We turned down Mifsud and Meteb because Nicky Maynard is the best Nick Maynard City's Number 10! I'll get my coat.

(repeat until tired) I just think that sums up us City fans............To much hard work to get it started. How do you think other teams start these songs off?????? Answer by singing it in small pockets, then more and more people join in. I think its about time we stop going on about songs for players and start getting behind city players and start singing songs for them, rather than the simple boring songs. Lets show some imagination I get some songs like these for our players and get behind the lads, instead of us fickle fans singing the same old same old and not getting behind the lads. Not trying to have a go here just trying to get some tension up so people will see that I'm right an start these songs off.
