alanpayne
If I arrive early and I'm prepared to walk a mile or so, is there any free parking around Coventry's ground? Help appreciated.

On the map below, there were on street spaces on Wilson's Lane last season. I remember a couple of us mentioning we could have parked there rather than the paid for car park by the motorway. Personally, I'd rather not gamble for the sake of a couple of quid, but you should be ok. Failing that, around the Blackhorse Pub looked ok too. Wilsons Lane is within the restricted parking zone and you will get a ticket.
CalifoniaRed
Parking by the motorway was only £4.30 when pre-booked and is pretty close to the away allocated pub as you can see on the map.
SC&T Board Members Blagdon red Posted August 20, 2008 SC&T Board Members Report Share Posted August 20, 2008 Parking by the motorway was only £4.30 when pre-booked and is pretty close to the away allocated pub as you can see on the map. See the pinned post above - it's only £3.80 if you book via the Trust website.

If you don't spot it as you first drive into Wilsons Lane you can be misled into thinking there are spaces in the road. There are always several cars with tickets when I walk back. Alex_BCFC
There is quite a bit if you are prepared to walk over a mile. We parked on a trading estate somewhere last time and walked for 25 mins ish.

I would have thought a place like coventry would pay YOU to park.
