I beleive George Gavin's dislike for all things Bristol City stems from the infamous Sky Televised Derby game in '96. I remember seeing the footage, when an hysterical Gavin, then the pitch side reporter / interviewer went up to Joe Jordan and said something along the lines of "Joe what are you going to so about these disgaceful scenes".
