stortfordred Posted October 18, 2008 Report Share Posted October 18, 2008 In his press conference after the Bristol City game on 17 October ,Glenn Roeder absolved his goalkeeper of any blame for the incident which gifted Bristol City their second home league win of the season. He was less happy with Leroy Lita's celebrations after the mystery goal. 'I spoke with Leroy as he was nipping out to the bookies,' said Roeder, 'I told him that he needs to take a good look at himself and stop jumping into the crowd when the opposition score.' Betfair declined to make any comment about the game but could not understand why Roeder appeared to be able to make judgments about a game that had not actually kicked off yet.
