PFree Posted April 24, 2004 Report Share Posted April 24, 2004 A load of cars were towed away today by the council, from under the Cumberland basin. These cars were parked in the same place that they have been parked for a number of years, previously without a problem. Apparently, there's a new initiative to remove all illegally parked cars. The overall fee to get your car back from the City pound is £125.00. Be warned, this a new approach, and seemingly, match days and the surrounding Ashton Gate areas are being targeted! There was a long queue of City fans at the pound after today's game, all who had to pay this fee.
