In simple terms this team has done brilliantly to put City in this psoition,

Its now time for some major changes we need about 5 new player based on recent performances if prem football is to be seen in the near future at the gate.......

This season players,

Orr (poor)

Maccalister (poor)

L Johnson (just ok)

elliot ( just ok)

Trundle ( fair, sub material only)

Sproule ( not good enough)

Maynard (poor, possibly not good enough on evidence seen)

Fine Tuning.

Missing Carey and McAllister is not ideal.

But it's not helped when the same 2 positons that have been a problem all season (central midfield and right wing) are still the MAJOR problem

Since Elliott is also struggling, Personally I'd like to see us bring in an old head in the middle who can sit in the midfield and try to control the game, someone who has played in the prem and isn't getting any younger.

The top teams in this league have them, Brum with Carlsey, Sheffield Utd with Gary Speed, whoever it is won't come cheap, however if this club is serious about pushing for promotion then it's something we seriously need.

[Lack of Action Man]

We will have to look abroad, at the moment we are not an established championship side with a long history of sucess so we will not get the cream of british or english players. Stern John looks to be an absoloute steal but he is just one person.

Not enough players who will kick us on to the next level.

We could just accept that City won't go up this year due to the level of quality of the teams around us. Then we can start looking to build a team for next year by blooding our more promising youngsters. Although if we were to do that, our fans would need to learn a lot more patience.
