PhatWill
Anyone seen the article below published on a Southampton unofficial web site? http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/v2....ws.php?id=15672 I do wonder what the author was trying to achieve??? -------------------------------------------------------- Getting A Pair Of Bristol's Out The visit of Bristol City was a lively affair last year however it could be livlier still on Saturday especially at Central Station. The problem has arisen because City's rivals Bristol Rover's have been drawn in the FA Cup at AFC Bournemouth, meaning that Rover's fans travelling by train will have to get a train to Southampton and then change for the line to Bournemouth, luckily for the British Transport Police, with the kick off at St Mary's being delayed for television it should at least give them the opportunity to stagger the travel of fans, if both kick off's had been at 3pm it would have seen the deadly rivals all on the same train. However there is bound to be some overlapping, not so much on the journey down where Police in Bristol should be able to ensure that Rover's fans are on earlier trains than their city counterparts, but afterwards it will only take Rover's fans to delay their journey back by 40 minutes or so and they will be arriving in Southampton Central at exactly the same time as City's. The Police will be working to a tight schedule, with the game at Bournemouth ending just before 5pm and a journey time to Southampton of 50 minutes, Rovers supporters would be hard pressed to make the 18.10 train from Southampton to Bristol, however their seems to be an extra train laid on at 18.40 to take the bulk, with the 19.10 hoovering up latecomers and perhaps City fans who have made a swift exit, but these will be very few. The bulk of City supporters will be on the 20.10 although when the Police will have hopefully ensured that they have missed Rover's supporters, however they will have to be on their guard for Rover's who have hung back with the deliberate intention of meeting up with City. Sadly this is the situation with football today and of course Hampshire police will for once be charging no one with indecent exposure after a pair of Bristol's have been got out. --------------------------------------------------------------

iWurzel
How exactly is he promoting violence. Seems he is simply making an observation about how small minded some football fans are....
