Huddersfield won the league in 1924 scoring 60 goals in 42 games.

That's the lowest for a league title.

The promotion question is going to take a bit longer to work out.

No it's not a possible record.

Have gone back to the war and the least is Gillingham 95/96 Div 3 with 49 goals in 46 games although losing out in terms of games played to....

Notts Co Div 2 (or div 1 equivalent today) 80/81 who scored just 49 goals in 42 games but got promoted.

Home record w 10 d 8 L 3 F 26 A 15

Away record w 8 d 9 L 4 F 23 A 23

Our meagre 55 goals so far is not far off though.

Eeek! ... I've just checked on soccerbase and the Gills manager at the time was only Tin Pot wasn't it?
