Admin Maesknoll Red Posted April 26, 2004 Admin Report Share Posted April 26, 2004 02/03 Wigan 100 pts = 2.17 per game Crewe 86 pts = 1.82 PG via play-offs from 6th place, Cardiff 01/02 Brighton 90 pts = 1.95 PG Reading 84 pts = 1.82 PG via play-offs from 5th place, Stoke 00/01 Millwall 93 pts = 2.02 PG Rotherham 91 pts = 1.97 PG via play-offs from 4th place, Wallsall 99/00 Preston 95 pts = 2.06 PG Burnley 88 pts = 1.91 PG via play-offs from 3rd place, Gillingham Is the sequence of play-off winners going to start again this year - what odds would you have got on 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th in consecutive years. Our current points per game of 1.75 would rule us out of promotion on the last four seasons totals, even with two more wins (1.80 per game) we'd still be edged out.
