Br 1st ol
Every west country team has had a great season... Plymouth. Div 2 champs Torquay. Div 3 Playoffs Exeter. Just missed out on playoffs Yeovil. Div 3 Playoffs Bristol City. Div 2 auto/playoffs Swindon. Div 2 Playoffs. That is not a bad show from all the west country teams... and it does help all teams having a successful region...players, transfers, sponsorship, reserve teams etc etc etc Dont think I have missed anyone have I? Oh yes, Tiverton Town...how did they get on....??
Guest Redarmy Ant
There is a MASSIVE 'catchment' area for football fans around Bristol as we saw at the LDV final (where are they now?) we just need to get into the first.

Guest Father Dougal
On this topic, surely a mention for Paulton Rovers, supplier and nurturer of Steve Phillips. Top of the Screwfix Premier when I last looked. Dinky little ground as well.

The Man In Black
It's called positive mental attitude Stu, a terrible affliction. There is often major outbreaks of it among Gasheads, especially at times when they get a new manager. Drugs are of no use. The best treatment is to head down the Memorial Stadium/Ground and watch the team play. That soon snaps them out of it
