Maltshoveller
I am asking you all to pick YOUR team for tuesday and also state the formation I would put money on it that nearly all the teams will be different Most will pick Basso in goal Carey as one of the centre backs Elliott in centre midfield MaAllister left back (who eles is there?) After that god knows 4-4-2 4-5-1 3-5-2 Wilson/orr right back McCombe/fonts centre back McIndoe /trundle left side ivan/wilson right side centre midfield and forwards take your pick This for me is the problem If we had a good side we should be picking 8/9 starters the fact none of us seem able to pick the same side makes me think the team is not good enough

sodburyred
I would have: **********Basso Wilson Fontaine Carey Mcallister Sproule Elliot Williams Mcindoe ******Maynard John Using "Wingers" Or *********Basso Wilson fontaine Carey Mcallister Noble Elliot Williams Trundle ******Maynard John Using Wing backs! I predict Mccombe, Johnson, Orr and Bola will all start though!! And we'll play alright and maybe draw or nick a 1-0!

Maltshoveller
As my first post said nobody has picked the same side 14 posts all different teams I think this shows we have a decent squad but lack real quality in the starting 11 I don't have a clue what would be our best team or formation would suit us most but here goes 3-5-2 .....Basso......... ..carey.......McCoombe.......Fonts.. Wilson..........Noble.....Elliott.....Williams.......McIndoe ...........Maynard........John.............. Adebola not in team for tuesday because cant play 3 games in 8 days Maynards in front of trundle because he scored sat and if he gets another it might kick start him The only other ? i have with this team would be can McIndoe play wing back if not Jimmy Mac
miketh2nd
GK: Basso RB: Orr LB: McAllister CB: Carey CB: McCombe RW: Noble LW: McIndoe CM: Elliott CM: Johnson CF: John CF: Maynard S1: Weale S2: Fontaine S3: Williams S4: Trundle S5: Adebola This would be my team also I think it's vital carey is back sadly for Fonts, think we need Johnson and elliot in middle town and think Noble can create a bit on the right and Mcindoe on the left only because we have no real compition for him. I think it's vital that we pick John and Maynard upfront think they could form a good partnership. I think Maynard will start but that Adebole might start because he scored also. Guest RiZiVi
no Carey? No, McCombe and Fonts have played superbly lof late, making a few mistakes, but making up for it, and they have had 5 clean sheets together in 8 games, making us top of the clean sheets. I know Careys captain, but I don't think he should wealk into the team, He should earn his recall back into it. My opinion.

Having said that, I feel more comfortable with a more traditional back four with the full backs get forward and beyond the wingers/wide midfielders as opposed to the wide midfielders tracking back all the time. As for Maynard, I still believe he has more of an impact coming off the bench than starting. He becomes more of a handfull after the opposition defenders have had to deal with Adebola/John/Trundle/Akinde/Brooker for 60-70 mins.
