BCFC Matthaus
On City World they said that the physio signalled that he was taken off as a precaution - and suggested it wasn't too serious. I've just seen the challenge on Sky - it was a shocker and I'd be amazed if Bruce hasn't crocked Maynard long term.

cider11
Just seen the goals and tackle on the local news. It was a shockingly bad tackle by Bruce, he even looked a bit suprised was sent off though for it.
Nogbad the Bad
Gashed shin according to ipswich website. That's not official, and a "gashed shin" could put him out for weeks even if there is no other damage associated with the impact. It looks an appalling challenge by Bruce on SSN. redsince82
\hopefully not too serious, however i was reading the above posts (rather too quickly) and i was wondering what a "Gashead Shin" was? i really must get to specsavers! stortfordred
Ipswich are appealing the red card....... They are jokers. I was incensed last night when the Ipswich fans gave Bruce a standing ovation. It was a shocking tackle and could have been a career ending injury. Thank God it wasn't but my opinion of Ipswich and their fans has changed forever.
