I know the 11 match run is ancient history now but surely he can't have forgotten that during that run we managed to catch plymouth and knock them off the top spot (making up quite a few points in the process)!??! We didn't fail to catch them - we failed to maintain top of the table status. It's two different things!!! Agree with DW about the consistency thing though! After that, we picked up 12 points from a possible 36, scoring just 8 goals in that period. Not so much 'couldn't catch them', as 'threw it away as soon as we did'.
