Flaxbourton Red
Yesterday cars were parked all the way back into long ashton as far back as the angel. Some had parking tickets on them. Yet the long ashton park and ride car park was closed with its gates locked. Madness.
Ron
The lack of co-operation by Park & Ride on a matchday is ridiculous, it's not as though their carpark gets anywhere near full. They could make a quick buck out of matchday parking too, but some stroke of idiocy seems to prevent them from doing so.
forbespm
i always park in long ashton after problems by kfc. i tried the park and ride only for over zealous security stamping there authority. i got there at 1-30 yesterday hoping to park neat the ground..no chance! didn't have these problems in the old 4th division! Guest
Every time it's been opened for use on match day in the past it doesn't get used. It's not as if it's not been publicised each time either.

Stephen Lewis
The P&R is never open on a sunday. I don't understand what's going on here. I would have thought the park and ride was to encourage people to leave their vehicles outside of the city center and as such it would be free to park and be open 24/7. If transport services aren't running it would become park and walk. Who actually owns this facility ?.
garlicbread
From what I've heard, the new ground will only have 1000 spaces....If we ever get to the 30-40k attendances that we hope for, we'll be parking up in Backwell!!
The Man In Black
As I've said before, the problem with the Park and Ride facility was the cost. Something like £5 a car - sure across a couple of people at an away game that might not be much, but for a home game where there is free on street parking it's insane IMO.
