Away Games

anyone with the club able to help:

to prevent the likes of what happened at Southampton last season, any chance of the club allocating a percventage of tickets given for the noisy singers, the ones who make as much noise as they can? If theres a dedicated area for them, and everyone knows about it, would deffo be a positive way forward, for ALL fans of BCFC travelling?

Cue the sanctimonious postings now. :noexpression: :noexpression:

Can't see any possible way to actually administrate that. Singing tests at the ticket office?

The best you'll ever get it some designated blocks but there'll never be any restriction on buying them and I'd rather just see unreserved so it sorts itself out.

I would take that test.

Would it be so hard just to keep one block aside to sell to the noisy fans? I don't go to many away games now because I don't enjoy it like I used to because of the days like St Marys. The benefits to our support could be immense.

Of course not, the hard bit would be ensuring only noisy fans buy the tickets in that block.

The club shop could simply ask fans if they wanted singing or non singing seats and have an option on line. This would also cut down on the events that blight some of our away games e.g sitters v Standers at St Marys. Many supporters would be all to happy to purchse tickets knowing there was a reduced possibilty of not having to face somebodys arse constantly waving around in front of them.

Why is this thread in the non footy forum??

And when allocations get sold out people would just buy whatever's available.

There's no harm in having a singers block I'm just pointing out it's impossible to enforce allocation like bucks seemed to be asking.

couldn't it be organised like the cardiff tickets are sold, when you ring up they ask if you want a singing section ticket or not, like with terrace or seating option at cardiff, i think it would be a good idea but may not happen as the club know this section wil stand and the old problems with standing may bite them in the ass...

Standing at away games has nothing to do with the club, it is down to the home club to enforce it.

Wouldn't get city in trouble.

Or blocks.

There would be a bit of crossing over but it would be better than what we have now which at times leads to a lot of bad feeling, cross words and even :handbags: followed by :bruce_h4h:
