Mr Mosquito
Not only was Norman Hunter good with his feet, he was good with his fists as well. Watch this for a right hook shot ....... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=V8kxMnc5KUs&...feature=related
BrotherErnieFromBarrowGurney
The only problem with both these videos are that they don't show what a great footballer he was. He came to City with a bit of a thuggish reputation but he was so much better than that. The greatest player I have ever seen in a City shirt. Mattster's video link shows Norman Hunter's sweet free kick taking left foot in all its glory. Notice Gerry Gow giving Norman a hug for scoring the goal........ http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yKRhWkhlcZo

redcityman
Great player, true city legend, can you imagine those tackle happening today, probably every one would have been a red, a great era when football was played by men and not some of the sissy's we have in today's game. Norman is football through and through, remember Chessley telling us some tales on a trip to Burnley in 98, the team was on the road to an away match (can't rememebr who) Cheesley was sat opposite Hunter decided to get the cards out just as the coach was pulling away, the instant the cards were on the table, big Norm got up opened the window, grabbed the cards and bellowed " where here to talk football, not play bloody cards" then promptly threw them out.
