TomRitchie'sBoots
Great shame with Brooker's ongoing fitness problems over the last few years. Fully fit he was just about the complete striker; upper body strength, play with his back to goal, comfortable checking out wide, great first touch to get it under, good general ball skills, mobile, decent in the air and a good shot in both feet. Everyone can picture him making space for himself on the edge of the box to get in a hard shot with no backlift. On his day better than Adebola or John (both of whom I rate for various qualities) and would have liked to see fit Brooks and Maynard. All said and done probably the right time to let him go and would wish him plenty of luck.
Drew Peacock
Would certainly be my favoured strike partnesrhip in an all ex-fellon XI I think you could do better, not a bad squad here
