Customer Service Bristol City Style: Still Waiting For Donny Refund

Four of us were going to the original Doncaster game and spent £143 on coach and match tickets. With the rearranged game on a Tuesday night we couldn't make it so took the tickets back for a refund after the Portsmouth game - so almost three weeks ago.

The first thing they said was that they could only refund by the same method that payment had been made - fair enough. We'd paid cash, so a cash refund would be fine. Except they didn't have any cash!!! Great! If you paid by cash you can only get a refund by cash, but we don't have any!!

So, they said they'd have to refund by cheque. But there was no-one in that day to sign a cheque. Can you believe it; a multi million £ concern that doesn't have any cash and no-one to sign a cheque.

So, they said they'd post it. Two reminders, and two further promises later and still no sign of it. Our Reading tickets came to £145 so we offered to pay the £2 difference, but no, we had to wait for the cheque that never comes.

Now £143 is a lot of money, especially from a club that continues to take huge wads of cash from us for tickets and suchlike every week.

And I don't really know where we go from here - anyone else in the same boat? Or anyone got any ideas??!!

Glad you guys got your refunds eventually - we are STILL waiting - how long now since the game was called off.

Now well and truly p##d off and a formal complaint winging its way to the club. Do they really give a s##t though?? I doubt it.
