CarlBCFC
I saw quite a lot of police in there. Anyone know what was going on? Maybe a fight between the Southampton fans or something?

dezgimed
To be fair, thats the first time I've seen the bouncing thing, and was pissing myself. Surely the club has some footage of it, whack it off to Soccer AM? Funniest thing I've ever seen at the footy.

kmpowell
I saw quite a lot of police in there. Anyone know what was going on? Maybe a fight between the Southampton fans or something? Following their recent run of bad form there have been serious threats (some death) by Southampton fans to both the Southampton players and Management. The extra police were drafted in to protect them. When the arrived they were surrounded by around 150 police officers as they entered the ground. Nowt to do with City fans or the EE. ciderup
I asked one of the EE stewards at half time why the 'reinforcements were there today'? He said the police had been told 150 known Saints yobs were travelling to the game and that was why there were riot police in there.
NifflerNomad
did something happen on cornation rd just before kick off?
The Man In Black
Odd police cordon around the away exit to the East End after the match too. Not sure what the point was as even though they were making City fans go all the way around the cordon finished at the entrance gates so all the fans then just started walking amongst each other quite peacefully in the car park. Waste of resources and time! On a separate note, anyone know what the numbskulls were fighting over in the middle of the road on Winterstoke Road? CarlBCFC
Another thing, there were about 10 Southampton fans being escorted, all smiling and two women in there, and a copper at the front videoing it? What was that all about? Maybe training for the Cardiff game?...
