KnowleUtd City Posted February 15, 2009 Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 On the 0900 out BTM fella, surley we will sell of the tickets now, if there are any left now that is?? as you come out of the station, if you head sort of to your left and straight ahead there are a couple of pubs on the main road, then if you hang a left at the top there are a load more pubs down there, 10 years since I've been there though so the memory is a bit hazy!! Markman Posted February 15, 2009 Report Share Posted February 15, 2009 For those of us on the train - straight out the station (take the left exit past Boots) - cross the road, amble to the left about 50ft and turn right - up this road O'Neills on the Corner and 2 or 2 Weatherspoons within another 50ft. Feeling brave - go past O'Neills and cut across the road to your left - just keep walking till you find a costa coffee on the corner -right next door a brilliant little Real Ale Pub (might even be called the Hob Goblin or something) - great Beer and I ecall some lethal Cider - set us nicely for the game - and a pasty shop next door as well!
