SC&T Board Members Blagdon red Posted February 19, 2009 SC&T Board Members Report Share Posted February 19, 2009 where is best place for pre match drink before game but have got my seven y o with me This might help you:The pub marker to the right of the stadium is 'Callaghan's Bar' in the Holiday Inn, while behind the hotel marker up the road from there is a pub called the Harvester, which is also supposed to be away fan friendly. Andy-1
Probably best to opt for the Harvester on Basingstoke Rd, about a 5-10 minute walk to the ground. Also big enough to get quite a few in.
BCFC Taunton
I believe they sell alcohol in the ground too. According to internet football ground guide.

The Casual Connoisseur
The Old Bill will probably attempt to shove the eqarly arrivals all in one pub, remember a game a few years back at rReading when this happened and they bussed us all in to the ground, busses were put into early retiremenet I think after that day. Aftere the game we had a hideous enforced walk back to the ground, which took at least an hour! It was a beauty of a day, first game of the season, sunny, boiling hopt and a great atmosphere, with City selling out all of our tickets and Mr Lavin smashing the ball into the crowd to hot things up even more! 21. Marcham
Remember it well mate, remember an empty dual carriageway full of us being escorted back to the Train Station What actually happens with the escorts? As saturday will be my first away train game i'm not to wise on the subject. Do the OB wait for each train at the station or escort the most popular trains?
