I thought that would get at least a playoff place. (Still, the bottom 3 looks good though)
chinapig
It's just an arithmetical extrapolation based on our average points per game so far (1.8). An extrapolation based on current form would give us 82 points. Either could prove right, or neither. Always Believe.
BristolCity1992
To be honest would not be surprised to see us finish there but its going to be a great run in and I will enjoy it regardless unless we lose all our games or something like that. Admin Ian M Posted February 25, 2009 Admin Report Share Posted February 25, 2009 Some boffin out there developed an Excel spreadsheet at the start of the season that if you update all the weekly scores it projects the final standings. The latest results give this final result: The new predicted final table.. 1 Bristol City 86 2 Reading 84 3 Cardiff City 84 4 Wolverhampton Wanderers 78 5 Birmingham City 77 6 Swansea City 75 7 Sheffield United 74 8 Derby County 74 9 Ipswich Town 70 10 Preston North End 66 11 Queens Park Rangers 64 12 Coventry City 63 13 Watford 61 14 Sheffield Wednesday 61 15 Doncaster Rovers 61 16 Burnley 59 17 Crystal Palace 52 18 Charlton Athletic 48 19 Norwich City 46 20 Nottingham Forest 45 21 Barnsley 45 22 Southampton 45 23 Plymouth Argyle 41 24 Blackpool 40 I like although even I doubt we'll end up winning 11 out of our final 12 games! CiderHider
Would've been happy with 8th at start of season, but now I think If we can make top 6 its the prem for sure If PNE finish above us i'll be surprised, they are 5h1t.
Slave to the rhythm
If PNE finish above us i'll be surprised, they are 5h1t. They didn't look 5h1t when they beat us in December, even allowing for the fact that we were on a very bad run at the time.

Exactly. They are on a bad run just like were in November/December- doesn't mean they are a bad side.

I thought that would get at least a playoff place. (Still, the bottom 3 looks good though) This is about as likely as that other table shown later in the early part of the thread. for example... Charlton will only get a further 7 points from 39 - Saints - 8 more points from 39 Forest - 8 from 36 need i go on?... the entire table will be a lot more bunched that this one. rubbish prediction. It was November but I'll let you off. looking at their results they are a hit an miss team, no consistency whatsoever, but secured some decent results, they were just awful against Southampton last weekend, now we are at the business end of the season watch them fade away.
