Hi A long standing City fan here based ooop north in Halifax.

I've loved all the 'bouncing' news recently and wondered if all this positivity could be channelled to support some kids with major disabilities who I work with? Would you be willing to support a fellow fan's efforts to win a £20K award for the special school I teach in? If so follow the instructions below and thanks

Martin

Ravenscliffe High School and Sports College in Halifax, a secondary

special school, has been nominated as 1 of 5 finalists in with a chance of

winning a £20,000 Future Friendly Award.

This is a national award which seeks to find the organisation in Britain

that the general public believes takes the most positive action to help

make a difference to their environment and community whilst showing a

significant commitment to sustainablity.

The school will feature in the Daily Telegraph newspaper on

28 Feb and 7 March 2009 and in an online 3 minute DVD which you can view

via the link below.

As you have a connection with staff or students at the school we are

asking you to consider voting on our behalf. This award would help us to

start the refurbishment of our school hydrotherapy pool which is used by

many of our students, who have a wide range of special needs and the local

community. (The overall cost of this project will be £200,000+)

The winning organisation will be chosen by public vote which is now

open until 3 April 2009. You can vote for Ravenscliffe NOW by

clicking this link (it will only take you 10 seconds to vote):

Please consider voting now and forward this email to any of your friends,

family or contacts who you think may be willing to support us.

Many thanks for you help. We really appreciate it.
