Eddie Hitler
The figures cover the 2007/08 season, when United won the Premier League and Champions League, and take the Red Football's debt from £604m to £649.4m. Liverpool will be in a similar position. Oh dear how sad never mind. Edit link http://news.BBC.co.uk/1/hi/business/7987603.stm

chinapig
Aren't leveraged buy outs a wonderful thing? "Buy" a club then make it pay for you to buy it. It's this kind of through the looking glass economics that has brought the world to it's knees and will do the same to football. Any chance I can buy somebody's house then make them pay for it? Guest
It's going to end in disaster at somepoint, or some rich Arabs will come in and buy up the club.. The Glazers will have to repay 75 million pounds in 2013, 150 million pounds in 2014, 150 million pounds in 2015, 150 million pounds in 2016 and a final payment of 600 million pounds in 2017. :noexpression:
