Quality Of Football

A lot of people say we play poor football.

I'm clearly nuts as I think we've played a better passing game this season than last, but haven't been quite as hungry this year or ready to drag the game down a notch - hence draws that could have been wins. But I'm a happy clapper, so...

When was the quality of football we played better than this season (apart from Norwich at home, obviously, which was possibly the dullest match I have ever been to)? I can think of one season under Wilson. Have I forgotten some halcyon era?

I'd even go so far as to say Jacki was decent. but didn't have to compete with four Premier League games a week, when our top division was the best in the world.

So my question is, when did we actually play better football than now and find me some evidence to support it.

Alternatively, in terms of boring teams, where are we in the division?
