How does everyone think the squad will line up next season, assuming Adebola and Trundle plus the other almost guaranteed departures leave I am hoping for the following.

Goalkeeper

Basso Henderson Loan / Youth

Right Back

Orr Ribeiro B.Wilson Edwards

Left Back

NEW McAllister Edwards B.Wilson

Centre Back

Carey Fontaine McCombe J.Wilson Ribeiro

Right Wing

NEW Sproule B.Wilson

Left Wing

McIndoe Stambolsiev B.Wilson

Centre Midfield

Elliott Williams Skuse Johnson Artus Kington

Centre Forward

Maynard NEW Styver Akinde Jackson Stambolsiev

With the following signings made:

LB: Over to you Gary....

RW: Scott Sinclair / Lee Croft / Akos Buzsaky

ST: Rob Hulse / Jon Stead (apparently Roy Keane is not a fan of his)

My Squad would be:

Goalkeeper

Basso Henderson Weale

Right Back

Orr Ribeiro B.Wilson

Left Back

McAllister Surman B.Wilson

Centre Back

Carey Fontaine McCombe J.Wilson

Right Wing

L Croft Sproule B.Wilson

Left Wing

McIndoe Surman

Centre Midfield

Elliott Williams Skuse Johnson Artus Surman

Centre Forward

Maynard Styver Akinde K.Cooper P.Gallagher

I think we need 2 new forwards and personally I would go for the 2 I have listed otherwise I would also look at Lita and Matt Derbyshire if there available.

He said on R Bristol this am that he is trying to get 5 top quality players in with 5 or 6 players going. So i assume that Adebola, Myre-Williams, Noble, John and possible Weale to leave. Elliot will also go if a 2 Mill bid comes in. He will probably bring in a centre half, Left midfielder ( Possible Ince from Liverpool on loan ) 2 strikers ( 1 being Iwelumu ) and a centre midfielder if Elliot goes.

The priority has to be a right winger. Sproule has has two seasons without another first team right winger for competition and he still can't hold down a place. This would also mean that Gavin Williams can battle it out for a regular place in center midfield.

A right AND a left winger. McIndoe has had no competition either... and McIndoe doesn't play out wide either so we need someone who will.

Probably going are: Noble (OOC), Myrie-Williams (OOC but I would keep him), Murray (OOC, coaching role), John (OOC), Adebola (OOC), Trundle (OOC?), Elliott (Wolves/Prem).

I would keep Iriekpen & sell McCombe.

GKRS- Basso, Weale

DFRS- Orr, B Wilson, Ribeiro, NEW CB, Carey, Fontaine, Iriekpen, J Wilson, NW LB, McAllister

MFRS- NW RW/LW, Sproule, NEW CM, Williams, Johnson, Skuse, Artus, McIndoe

STKS- NEW STK, Maynard, Styvar, Akinde

SEASON LOANS (CCL1 clubs): Artus, Henderson, Plummer, Ribeiro, J Wilson

SEASON LOANS (CCL2/Conference clubs): Edwards, Jackson, Kington, Stambolziev, Walker

The goalkeeping position is covered very well (can't see Weale leaving).

The defence needs strengthening with a new CB and a new LB (can't see youth being given a chance) but I think we aren't far off defensively.

Our midfield needs bolstering with a wide player that can play both sides and possibly 1 or 2 centrally (depending if Elliott leaves), Artus may be the answer to that though.

Looking at the striker situation, if Adebola doesn't re-sign, Trundle leaves and John is released we will be very short in that department, so a new striker seems a cert.
