GJ didnt exactly dismiss the notion out of hand did he?? if we do end up putting in a bid we should be worried though as it means our main targets turned us down :noexpression: As I said previously, my impression was GJ was being very polite and diplomatic, but in fact he wasn't interested in Lambert at all. If I got it wrong, and your impression is correct that Lambert may indeed be very low down GJ's list, and not in fact ruled out, then let's hope one of Lambert's other admirers snaps him up early so that City are never forced to entertain the thought of signing him as a very last resort if our first dozen or so choices somehow all don't work out. :noexpression: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
