mightyreds89
Anyone think we should be after him, he was good last season for Blackburn under Mark Hughes and playing regularly and amongst the goals, I believe he was on loan for a lot fo this season abroad?? Maybe Greece/Germany cannot remember! Since he has been back has struggled to get off the bench at best, seen him for under 21 August 2007 at the Gate and he was quality! Does not appear to have been chased by many if any Premier League teams! Hig wages cannot be huge 15k a week max, worth a loan shout with the view to permenant shoyld we get up? Sampson City Reds
He is on loan for Olympiacos and he has scored 5 goals in 7 games for them so I wont be surprised if they sign him on a permanent basis.

Not a chance, he has done very well in Grecce and Olympiacos are interested in signing him permanently.... If he dosnt sign for them then I'm sure a premier league club will be interested. Good shout but not a chance IMO.

Has been very successful - Cant see him coming here. Think its a done deal to greece aswell. Would love a quality player like that here, but it aint going to happen
awilko
Since he has been back has struggled to get off the bench at best, Thats because he hasnt been back from Greece yet since he left!! don't think there playing Samba up front by choice!! 'Orns
Have always been impressed with Derbyshire. Know a few lads that are Blackburn fans and they could never understand why he wasn't given more of a chance at Ewood. Heard an interview with him last week on 5Live, and despite not being the sharpest tool in the box (Robbie Savage told a story about him asking the lads if he still had to pay the mortgage on his house if he hadn't sold it and wasn't living there.......), he was really down to earth and seemed to want to stay in Greece. How refreshing to see a young lad get of his backside and make a career for himself rather than be content to play in the reserves and pick up his pay. Good luck to him! They are, Allardyce doesn't like McCarthy s (lack of) work ethic and team spirit and wont play him until he bucks his ideas up. Anyway if you are Derbyshire: its Greece or Bristol. No contest. BCFCfan
They started with Samba and McCarthy in their last 3 games..... (couldnt be bothered to check passed that) But anyway, he is Prem quality so we wont be getting him.
