chowie
Looks like City have enquired about loaning this keeper, says we are 1 of 5 clubs, we have links with Arsenal I believe so would have thought we should have advantage. http://74.125.65.132/translate_c?hl=en&...A2RNJNc7CAqoAZA

Geoff65
Polish Under 21 keeper who wants games - is he going to get games here? No chance.
Geoff65
Extension meaning he hasnt signed on for extra years which means that he is ours for the next season at least. He was at a junior team awards presentation last week - cant see him doing that unless he was happy at the club.
herman
Hold onto the thought that Basso has not signed a contract extension. do you honestly think there's any chance GJ would give that kind of chance to a young player?!
Danzinio
I follow Arsenal, and what i have seen of him, he does look like a very good keeper!! Very strong and good shot stopper!
'Orns
We have a link with arsenal? since when? I'd love to know the answer to that Riaz. Someone was trying to tell me on Saturday at cricket that such a link exists - I need some proof! There were rumours going around last season that something had been agreed.........the truth is out there!

chowie
We have a link with arsenal? since when? I knew it was end of November last year, but could not remember where it was announced, it seems it was a GJ Q&A session. http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...rsenal,AND,link
CiderHider
Pretty sure we don't have a "link" with Ze Arsenal or Chelsea regardless what was posted in that Q&A thread, ask robbored he will know. If we do by some remarkable way, it's a fail link. Anways, he is a good keeper and would have more chance of playing here than Ze Arsenal.
GrahamC
1 enforced substitute appearence in almost 2 years?? not looking to start a debate, just stating a fact Actually if you're going to be factual it is 2 substitute appearances, QPR home, first game of season 07/08 and Ipswich home in season 08/09. herman
Like he did for Stephen Henderson ? in what sense has GJ given henderson a run of first team games...? he's even come out on 2 occasions and said even if basso gets injured, he'd either bring back weale (last season), or loan in someone else. the lad is looking for games, not to sit on the bench or whatever

Thats just how it is and all keepers should understand this. if they wanna get some 1st team experience then they'll go out on loan, but no manager will give 2nd choice keeper a "run out" for a bit of fun, The Championship is no place to experiment to keep players happy. If they don't like it they can find themselves another club.
Lack of Action Man
It is pretty obvious to me that Gary won't drop Basso for any reason. Two appearences in the space of three years for our number two shows that. Can't see what this lad would come here for if he is seeking first team action.
